Every year the best Umbraco projects are elected at the Umbraco Codegarden conference and a total of 10 awards in various categories are awarded among several hundred projects. This year Compent won in the category Best New Tech with the Shamballa Jewels In-store Jewelry Designer.
In the past nine years, we have usually joined Codegarden. This year two developers from Compent, Dimitry and Denis, were at the conference while Vadym and Jeppe also took part in the Gold Partner Summit the day before the main event. The conference was intriguing and there was special focus on Headless CMS and Umbraco 8.
In keeping with tradition there was an award show. We won an award at this show in 2014 with TV 2 - Fight Cancer. Back then the show had only three categories, so we are very proud of the fact that we won an award here again this year in the category "Best New Tech" with the Shamballa Jewels case.
