Rental service and C2C platform

Digital platform automates 90% of manual processes and makes resale scalable for fashion brands

Manual processes made resale an unsolvable and unprofitable business

More and more fashion brands want to enter the circular economy by offering resale of their previous collections. However, the process was a significant barrier. Receiving, quality-checking, pricing, photographing, and manually creating each used product was extremely time-consuming, error-prone, and expensive. The manual workflow made it practically impossible to scale the business and create a profitable model for resale, which deterred many brands from taking part in the circular transition.

The platform enables the fashion industry to make money in a sustainable way while extending the life of the products. It can make us all reconsider the way we produce and consume, and at the same time rethink the use of materials.

A "plug-and-play" platform for automating the entire resale flow

In a close partnership with Continued Fashion, we developed a custom-built, headless software platform that digitizes and automates the entire workflow for resale. The solution acts as an engine that makes it easy for brands to connect to a circular model.

The platform's core functions are:

  • ERP Integration: The system integrates with the fashion brand's existing ERP system and automatically retrieves all relevant product data – images, descriptions, item numbers – based on a simple scan of the clothing's original barcode.
  • Automated Product Flow: The platform manages the entire process from when an item is received at the warehouse, through quality checks, pricing, and until it is ready for sale.
  • Webshop Integration: With a single click, the product is automatically published to the brand's webshop (e.g., via Shopify integration), complete with all data and images.

A scalable and profitable business model for circular fashion

The platform has transformed resale from a manual headache into a streamlined and value-creating business opportunity.

  • Automation of 90% of manual tasks: The time spent handling each piece of clothing has been drastically reduced.
  • A scalable business model: The solution has made it profitable for fashion brands to engage in resale, removing the primary barrier to entering the circular economy.
  • Fast time-to-market: Brands can now get resale items online extremely quickly, increasing turnover speed.
  • Reduced risk of errors: Automation minimizes human errors in pricing and product creation.
With this solution, it becomes the manufacturer's responsibility to handle their own waste, whereas today it is society's responsibility. The platform can thus be a "game changer" for the existing industry, which will undoubtedly spawn more similar models
